Finance Director-FMCG is needed for a Multinational company
Reports to: Country General Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Lead, grow, and develop a strong cluster Finance team of specific functional experts to ensure both sound accounting and controlling policies and practices and effective financial support to the business
• Drive the implementation and maintenance of accounting processes and financial control of the local entity: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collection, Fixed Assets, Payroll, VAT and tax reporting, expense control etc
• Establish appropriate understanding and awareness of financial performance indicators at all levels of the organisation, covering both commercial and supply finance areas
• Provide financial leadership to the organisation on all areas of business support covering ROI, Customer management, Price management, Spend efficiency and drive actions for improvement of profitability
• Build and maintain effective relationships within the company at local and international levels to secure required support and mutual exchange of essential business information
• Support and lead from Financial management and reporting pov, the MIS of the cluster to ensure efficient and reliable use of information systems
• Co-ordinate monthly financial closing procedures and reporting to local management and to Corporate Finance. Must ensure that reporting is according to financial principles
Job Requirements:
• Recognised Finance Accountancy professional qualification
• University degree in Finance or related area advantageous
• 3 to 5 years proven expertise at leading and managing Finance teams at the senior management level
• Knowledge of other parts of Finance advantageous (Legal, Tax, Corporate Reporting, Treasury, Internal Audit and Merger and Acquisitions)
• The business language in the company is English, therefore fluency in English is essential.
• Preference will be given to those with Arabic and/or French language proficiency
IT SKILLS:
PowerPoint Word Excel Outlook
Negotiation skills - experience in handling unions beneficial
Experince in working at FMCG sector is a MUST-C.V.S without FMCG experince will be disregarded.
