VAM Systems is currently looking for IT Operators for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill set required:

1. Technical knowledge of computer operations.
2. Understands computer operator commands and program processing commands.
3. Good background of management reports and printer lines and connections.
4. Good communication skills with other teams and language skills

Responsibilities:

1. Provides all the support needed in system operation and establish computer processing priorities. According to programmes requirements and hardware capabilities.
2. Provide proper and complete handover to same team colleague during shift changing.
3. Correct minor operating problems by entering alternative or corrected operating commands through the control console. Notify supervisor of equipment malfunctions and operating problems that could not be corrected by routine procedures.
4. Monitor and audit all the running jobs on all the systems and report as per the listed procedure.
5. Monitor all the systems through the monitoring system and report to the concerned IT teams any discovered fault.
6. Follow the escalation process of system faulty and follow up with the teams as per the escalation procedure.
7. Refers the problems of Technical nature to the Help Desk Agents.
8. Monitor and study system utilization and provide reports to the concerned IT section.
9. Receives notifications from Branches system when on-line terminal are malfunctioning, verifies the malfunction, and contact the service representative to arrange for necessary repairs.
10. Perform as needed all the duties of a computer operator.
11. Operate the mainframe computer and peripheral equipment, observe for error messages.

Terms and conditions:

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading banks in Bahrain.
