SAP Billing Consultant for Bahrain

VAM Systems is currently looking for SAP Billing Consultant for our Bahrain operations with the following Skillsets, terms and conditions:

Required Academic qualification and certification

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent
SAP ISU Certification.

Required Work experience

At least 10 Years of experience in SAP ISU Billing implementation and management in Utilities
Should have completed at least 5 Full Life Cycle implementations as a team lead.

Required Technical experience

Should have extensive experience in configuring Billing Master Data
Should be able to handle and deliver complex billing functional requirements.
Should have worked with RTP Billing & Energy data management
Should have strong cross functional SAP expertise with emphasis on device management FI-CA, intercompany data exchange, Energy data management areas are essential to the role
Should have good understanding of product mapping between legacy and SAP system and should have done the same in past projects
Should have deep knowledge of meter to cash cycle and should be able envisage the scenarios involved and provide solutions accordingly.
Understanding of project implementation methodologies and solution manager is required including ASAP-8.
Should have performed client facing roles in various capacities across projects.
Should have experience in ISU integration with third party systems.
Should have worked on and delivered functional design documents, Blueprint documents, configuration design documents, standard operation procedures
Should have worked on different phases of testing including SIT, IT, UAT, functional testing, smoke testing, negative testing etc.
Should be able to carry out and manage the best plans laid down for the full life cycle of the project
Must have strong knowledge of the various mass data upload and maintenance tools like BDC EMIHALL.
Should have experience in supporting migration activities from a functional perspective
Should be experienced in producing management reports.
Experience in implementing smart metering and net metering solution

Should be able to work on the following activities:

1. Gathering requirements
a. Meeting with SAP core team
b. Meeting with SAP Coordinators and business
2. Preparing Blue print and functional specification document
a. UML based specification
b. Logical Data Model
3. Carrying on Configuration work
a. Configuring new functionalities to existing SAP Environment
b. Maintain existing SAP environment
4. Testing
a. Prepare test plans
b. Conduct functional testing
c. Conduct integration testing
5. Preparing User Manual
6. Training End users
7. Performing any related jobs as directed by the supervisor.

In addition to the above activities, should be able to work on the following activities:

1. Managing to the above SAP Billing module, reviewing the customer service processes and mapping it
2. Leading the implementation and the upgrades of the SAP Billing module including design configuration and testing of the new enhancement
3. Managing the integration between the SAP CEM, SAP Billing, FICA and any other enterprise system i.e. GIS.
4. Liaison between end-users and SAP Developers in the analysis, design, functional configuration, testing and maintenance of SAP Billing module to ensure optimal system performance
5. Conduct periodical system operation assessments to ensure effective system utilization and data updates
6. Tracks and document changes in functional and business specifications and provide users with detailed procedures that can be easily understood
7. Identifies opportunities for improving business process in partnership with process owners and management through SAP Billing module and integrations.
8. Provides technical assistance in training monitoring, and coaching professional and technical staff on matters related to assigned area
9. Trains users and support training in the usage of SAP Billing module functionality or new enhancements.
10. Offering day-to- day Billing for end-users
