Instrument Supervisor in Basra

Job Description
Execute operations, testing, maintenance, repairs of temperature and pressure transmitters, positioners for control valves, vibration monitoring systems, DCS, Fire and Gas, etc.

Duties Organize instruments routine checks.
Troubleshooting and problem solving.
Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations. Fixing faults onsite.
Provide advice and consultancy support.
Keeping Maintenance Coordinator informed of progress.

Experiences / Skills
Bachelor in industrial engineering (Instrument or equivalent). with 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry and minimum 5 years as Instrument Supervisor in Gas Turbine Power Plant or similar project. Good English knowledge.
Knowledge of P&ID;diagrams, plant instrument location drawings, wiring diagram, cable schedules, interconnection drawings, loop drawings, on/off and control valves, DCS, PLC, etc.
Must have finger dexterity, effective communication skills and a knack for solving complex problems.
Ability to manage time appropriately. Type organization.
Strong organization and leadership skills.
Excellent written and oral communication and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with all levels.
Ability to organize work.
Developed knowledge of risk management and safety requirements. Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works. Knowledge of plant process.
