Logistics Specialist - Baghdad

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all (Marketing, HR, BT, Plant and postmix) PRs have been converted to PO on time using SAP and coordinate between finance & suppliers for receiving payments.
2. Arrange all PR and PO’s for logistic department which including transportations, custom fees and finished goods from Al-waha Plant in Hilla.
3. Examine price of every Transportation and finished goods PRs for compliance with contracts and agreed prices.
4. Ensure that all damaged and missing materials have been charged back to related supplier or transportation company.
5. Ensure delivery of all related Good Receive Notes, manifests & invoices to accounting department on time.
6. Monthly reconciliation of orders with Al-Waha Co. and returning pallets to them.
7. Arrange and follow up monthly health test results with ministry of Health on monthly bases.
8. Follow up Air shipments in Erbil Airport and related Air express companies
9. Follow up transportation documents between plant WH, transportation companies and custom clearance agent.
10. Arrange good filing system and archiving for all logistics documents.
11. Other tasks when required by his supervisor or Supply Chain Manager.

Required Qualifications:

1. 3 years of total experience.
2. Highly analytical.
3. Good communication skills.
4. Able to lead and manage systems and cross-functional projects.
5. Able to travel if necessary (domestic and international).
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office especially MS Excel.
7. Intermediate in English (and local language if an expat)
8. University Graduate
9. Potential to be promoted to key roles in the country.
