 Ensure the school’s vision, mission and core values are implemented
 Oversee and ensure the school’s Commitment to quality education and it continued improvement, with the main focus on students’ outcome.
 Ensure the implementation of the school’s stated curriculum and related assessment in all phases.
 Review, and where necessary setup systems to ensure that all students’ academic abilities reach their highest levels.
 Interpret assessments/ tests/ exam results and ensure these are used to regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum instructional practices and student learning.
 Approve the allocation of teaching workloads to teachers, co-ordinate the production of the timetable.
 Ensure that the school is compliant as per the American Regulations and directives.
 Recruit and select qualified staff, according to the school standard.
 Promote and monitor the continuing professional development of staff, including the induction of newly appointed teachers.
 Implement stringent policies and procedures to deliver highest level of health and safety to the students.
 Supervise the other instructional activities to ensure an all-round development of the students.
 Oversee the schools’ shared services department (HR, Accounts, Registration, Office Management, Facilities).
 Provide performance updates and prepare management presentations/reports as and when required.
 Monitor the registration department to ensure proper student record keeping Direct and monitor the implementation of School Improvement plan.
