Backend Web Developer

Data Compass is a global platform that connects world-class software developers with great companies. We are in search of contractors who can work remotely and work for companies in Data Compass Network.

We are looking for Backend Web Developers well-versed in Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Node, or C#.

We are looking for someone with:

- Familiarity with designing and implementing a scalable system including how to leverage micro-services, when applicable.
- Ability to produce high-quality software through unit and functional testing.
- Understanding of how to build things that are secure and safe from attacks.
- Familiarity with AWS
- Experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries.
- Experience in building enterprise-level applications using MVC or similar frameworks.

Additional value if you have:

- Full-stack engineering experience with an emphasis on backend development.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience in mentoring and helping younger developers.
