Factory Manager

Yousef Abdul Latif and Sons Agriculture Ltd. is a privately owned agriculture business located in Saudi Arabia. The rapidly growing company is currently cultivating more than 300,000 date palms in modern, large-scale plantations. With increased production, the firm aims to mechanize its processes and expand its global reach – whilst adhering to sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.

This position is responsible for factory manager to work in our palm date packing factory. The ideal candidate will have significant experience within a high speed large scale vacuum packing environment. This will ideally be within a palm date or similar stone fruit or dried food environment. Ensures that all production targets and delivery schedules are achieved within the given timeline, that all production output meets the acceptable quality levels and adheres to specific codes and all applicable quality standards

Production Development:
• Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality and shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
Implementation & Operation:
• Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs.
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
• Implement shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
• Collect Maintain and analyse data to find places of waste or overtime
• Provides direction, development and leadership to production supervisor.• Design, interpret and implement equipment-monitoring strategies for the plants.
Maintenance:
• Ensuring Planned Preventive Maintenance, Corrective maintenance, installation of equipment and machines in Factory Services, Supply chain.
• Coordinate the planned mechanical maintenance activities of production machines.• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary
