Sales Engineer - Safety Products

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Sales Engineer will be tasked with enhancing revenue generation in line with the Regional budgets.
Main Responsibilities:
Represent, build and maintain the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Company brand within the customer segments for all products and services.
Make, maintain and exceed both short term, intermediate and long term sales plans in line with phased, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Make complete business analysis, projection and predication based on market trends, competition and budgets/spending of the customers.
Maintain an A-B-C analysis list of all customers handled based on potential or spend size, use this listing to plan sales calls, customer events and annual sales strategies/achieve targets.
Ensure all internal checklists, procedures and documents are followed / documented from enquiry generation to receipt of payment.
Provide market feedback and future business potential for the products handled, thereby enhance sales and build business with increased profitability year on year.
Maintain, track and report all customer enquiries, quotes, orders, deliveries and payments as required by the companies reporting requirements.
Develop a comprehensive business plan and sales strategy for the product in the respective market applying principles like cross-sell, up-sell, complement, supplement, value add and value integration for the customer.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Build, maintain and improve relationships with the customers in order to capitalize on customer spending, upcoming projects and strategic initiatives.
Engage, partner, communicate and collaborate with principals /OEM/Supplier on technical issues, customer solutions, customer and market events, new product offerings in way to enhance and build our brand value.
Planning, requesting, selling and maintaining optimum stocks (min/max levels) on quarterly basis based on customers and prospects.
Ensure all customer payments are received within the stipulated timeframe as set by the division.
Ensure all Principal / Partner and supplier payments are made within the agreed terms and conditions.
المهارات
3+ years Sales experience in PPE (protective eyewear, hearing and hand protection, helmets, safety footwear and work wear), Industrial Consumables and/or MRO Products.
Experience selling into Utilities, Refineries, Drilling Contractors and large Industrial clints.
Proficient in sales process, prequal process, framework and standards in an Industrial setting.
Strong negotiation and customer relationship management
