we are Addar Chemicals Company located in Jubail Industrial city 1 looking
for: DCS Operator as below requirement and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate the DCS (Distributed Control System) for plants start up and shutdown operations in order to meet Company’s objectives and production targets.
• Monitor and control all process ********* conditions such as flow rates, pressures, temperatures, levels, etc. through displays, graphics and trend logs.
• Communicate with field operators for ********* adjustments, manual charging, transfer of materials etc in field as required by SOP.
• Report to Shift In-charge in case of ********* abnormalities and process deviations immediately.
• Makes minor plant adjustments when necessary and reports any serious faults to the Shift Incharges with appropriate remedial actions, implements immediately the approved actions, procedures and standard emergency responses.
• Takes immediate corrective actions to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and production during emergency situations.
• Monitor & Control the usage of raw materials, chemicals and other plant utilities effectively to an optimum level in safe manner.
• Prepare & Assist in preparation of necessary plant - operational reports as requested by Production Shift In-Charge or Team Leader.
• Ensure the safe shutdown, isolation and blow down of relevant Section / plant during emergency situations.
• Assist in studying the problem and issues arising in the operation and process to identify suitable remedial measures.
• Identify and investigate the faults and inform the concerned departments, for remedial action.
• Adhere to Company’s HSE policy, standards and approved operating procedures while performing the duties / tasks.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by Shift -In charge such as taking part in training / developing new recruits / implementing orientation programs, preparing necessary reports, plant shutdown and start up procedures, plant operation, supervising charging etc.
• Shall be able to take responsibilities of Shift In-Charge in absence of him.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma in Chemical Engineer
• Knowledge in Chemical and Petrochemical industries
• Proficient skills of plant DCS system operation

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years experience in Chemical and Petrochemical Industries

Additional traits

• Shall have very good communication skill in English language.
• Shall have good spirit in team work.
• Shall have good command on MS office.
• to be able to follow written instructions
• good hand-eye co-ordination
• good problem-solving and analytical skills

Working conditions

• Work in physically challenging environments, with heavy machinery and potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Strict safety procedures and regulations must be followed to minimize the risk.
• Usually work a set Schedule
• Work in Split shift
