مطلوب System Engineer – Job Description
Work
Schedule Basic Service Period, Block Times, and7X24 on call
• Certified trained by OEM/Integrator on their specific Hardware, operating
Systems and Software.
• Five years’ experience in maintaining OEM/Integrator Equipment and operating
Systems.
• Five years’ experience maintaining similar OEM Equipment in a large Enterprise
Network such as the EXPEC Computer Center.
• Five years’ experience in Visualization technology.
• Five years’ experience in Linux Operating System.
• shall be a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), and shall have five (5) years’
experience with recognizable size sites.
• Five (5) years proven Enterprise Hardware experience.
• Five (5) years proven Manufacturer
Hardware/Equipment experience
• Five (5) years’ experience in Manufacturer related applications, utilities and
peripheral devices
• Experience in advanced AV technologies
• Research Management Software issues and problems.
• Demonstrable expert knowledge of and Manufacturer’s certification on the
current version of deployed System(s) with a minimum of five (5) years hands on
work experience with it.
• Demonstrable expert knowledge of and Manufacturer’s certification on key
Equipment’s Hardware architecture(s).
• Expert knowledge of Manufacturer’s provided Solution.
• Expert knowledge of the Manufacturer’s own peripherals, and related Hardware
and utilities.
• Current Network and TCP/IP Administration Certification.
• Fluency in spoken and written English including computer related technical
terminology.
• Excellent inter-personal communications skills.
• Ability to communicate/teach key concepts to less experienced technicians and
System administrators.
• Ability to propose, illustrates, demonstrate and present architectural
improvements and new Solutions.
• Extensive experience in architecting, designing, installing, ******uring and
troubleshooting advanced Systems based on the Manufacturers’ products.
• Proven ability to analyze System performance and tuning.
• Represent CONTRACTOR in Problem and Change Management meetings.
• Manage escalation between SAUDI ARAMCO and Manufacturer.
• Responsible for collection of required information or data to enable diagnosis of
problems.
• Log calls on Manufacturer’s System as required by the Manufacturer.
• Provide SAUDI ARAMCO with all required periodic patches customized to SAUDI
ARAMCO’s landscape.
• Provide SAUDI ARAMCO recommendations on the Manufacturer’s best
practices.
• Ensure that contractually agreed Response Times are achieved, and problem
escalations progressed in order to maintain full customer satisfaction.
• Analyze System performance and propose tuning recommendations.
• Shall be fluent in spoken and written English, including computer related
technical terminology.
