Al-Masader Al-Dualiyah For Environment and Quality Systems Co. (AMAD) was established in 2002 as part of a major Saudi-European joint venture. It is a member of Sahara Global Holding Co. (SGH), a group covering the following business divisions: Environmental & Quality Services, IT & Communication, Health & Medical, Inspection, Monitoring & Quality Assurance, Real-estate Development, and Trading & Retail.
Initially, AMAD focused on technology transfer to support local development serving both the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Over the past decade, AMAD accumulated expertise in environmental, health and regulatory sectors throughout a wide range of projects executed in KSA. Recently, AMAD decided to enter the field of sustainable energy (e.g. solar, energy efficiency, waste-to-energy, etc.) to become a key player in sustainable development activities in the Kingdom.
