Speech Therapist – Arab speaker

The Organization:Our client is a rehabilitation and long-term care provider, with facilities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain. They provide multidisciplinary and intensive rehabilitation for individuals suffering from neurological problems in subacute, post-acute and long-term care settings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Speech Therapists work closely with patients of all ages who have various levels of speech, language and communication problems, and with those who have swallowing, drinking or eating difficulties.
Therapists assess a client’s needs before developing individual treatment programs to enable each patient to improve as much as possible.
Responsibilities will include:
• identifying developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders;
• assessing and treating swallowing and communication difficulties;
• devising, implementing and revising relevant treatment programs;
• working with patients on a one-to-one basis, and in groups, to deliver therapy;
• managing a caseload taking account of priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral and discharge of service users;• working with others to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.

Skills & Competencies:
• Native Arab speaker, good English communication skills • Personal skills: patience, empathy, assertiveness and tact
Education & Qualifications:
• DHA/HAAD/MOH license or HAAD eligibility letter as Speech Therapist is mandatory• Minimum of 2 years similar working experience
