Chief Pharmacist

We are looking for A Pharmacist leader who has the capacity to lead and direct Pharmacy Staff and be accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within our pharmacy. You will lead an inpatient and outpatient hospital pharmacy with high expectations for
• Patient safety
• Pharmacy professional practice and people management
• Compliance with regulations
• Quality improvement
• Customer service
• Inventory management
• Productivity and profitability • Workflow Management

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. You will be expected to assume direct responsibility for all aspects of Pharmacy operations.
2. If you are now aware of accreditation requirements for medication management, UAE insurance claim processes, Ministry of Health regulations, this may not be a job for you.
3. The hospital provides both out-patient & in-patient care. The Pharmacy is also likely to become a hub for satellite clinics.
4. You will be expected to implement customer service best practices and manage operations efficiently to minimize waste and re-work.
5. An expectation would be for you to prepare, maintain and submit all records, reports, and other documentation as required internally and externally to run an effective pharmacy service
6. You will be responsible for analyzing performance data including pharmacy financial, customer service, and inventory, reviews KPI and identify pharmacy performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
7. You will support and participate in the organization’s performance management and the productivity and utilization review processes.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
1. Formal accredited training and qualification in Pharmacy
2. With your application please include details of your previous span of responsibility to give an indication of number of patients/prescription dispensed by Pharmacy you have led previously.
3. Local UAE applicants wishing to move to an established, high qualty hospital are encouraged to apply
