Implement best practices in agile scrum and continuous integration by working across product, development, QA, and dev ops teamsMentor individual engineers and implement best practices such as pair programming to ensure that individuals are growing in their careersImplement product planning process by measuring then optimizing team velocities, so that we can accurately hit release datesWork with management to define headcount requirements and execute against hiring plans to scale up the engineering teamBuild cross­functional agile teams that include front­end, backend, app dev, QA, design, product, and scrum masters to modularize the organization and set us up to scaleBuild alignment with company executives, product, and your own teams to define software roadmaps and execute release schedulesPresent steady pulse of regular engineering progress updates in company all hands eventsPlan team building events and activities that promote trust and collaboration among staffOversee the design and manage all the process for the various Fintech projectsAnalyze and design all project requirements and guide the team into the development of needed productsEnsure that the development of products on both front-end and back-end meets the necessary technical requirements of the projectSupport the software architecture analysisManage software products from design to development to testing and implementationEnsure systems and infrastructure integrationReorganize, attract and retain a team of highly skilled engineersManage a team of developers working on banking-related development projectsIn charge of project planning and budget controlManage project budgets and maintain statistical and financial recordsSubmit periodical and accurate reports on project progress to corporate committeesLead IT and business change management processesWork with other departments to use new technologies to streamline company policies and rulesConduct research to improve the technological assets of a companyOversee IT budgets to make sure there are no unnecessary expendituresDevelop and direct all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client informationDevelop and implement all internal communication systems, such as email and instant messagingEvaluate new technology and make recommendations on technological solutionsIdentify competitive advantages and technological trends for the benefit of a company
Direct the development and possible implementation of policies in instances of a breach, also known as disaster recovery plans
Profile
Strong CTO with experience of working in a start up, ideally in the Middle East.
