• Troubleshoot, resolve simple to highly complex technical issues related to Oracle Weblogic Applications Servers & related technologies for all versions of WebLogic [ 11G’s and 12C’s)
• Troubleshooting, Load Balancing, Clustering, Deploying Applications, Performance Tuning and Maintenance
• Create, Configure and Tune WebLogic domains & applications for performance
• Work with Vendors and Developers for application related issues.
• JDBC Connection Pool and Multi pool configuration and management
• Deployment, troubleshooting of JAR, WAR, and EAR files in domain and clustered environments.
• Upgradation of WebLogic Servers in Development, Test and Production environment and applying patch and service packs
• WebLogic Administration, Monitoring and Troubleshooting using Admin Console.
• Cluster Configuration – Single Cluster, Multiple Clusters and Deployment over clusters.
• JMS configurations and performance tuning with weblogic.
• Configure foreign servers, Integrating WebLogic Server with IBM MQ ,Tibco EMS
• WebLogic's HttpProxyServlet and HttpClusterServlet configurations.
• Server Performance Tuning - Thread Dump Analysis, when Server crashed unevenly.
• Creating security roles, group policy, user authentication, auditing and authorization.
• Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and client authentication.
• Node Manager Configuration – remote managed server start and stop. SSL communication between admin server and nodemanager.
• Working with WebLogic utilities - WebLogic.Admin, WebLogic.Deployer, appc etc
• Monitoring WebLogic server health and security.
• Configuring Web Logic Plug-ins for Apache Web Server and configure load balancing and fail-over solutions.
• Analyzing the Log Files, Thread Dumps, JVM Dumps, Exception Stack Traces.
• Monitoring thread usage, connection pool usage, CPU usage, Memory usage.
• Installing weblogic server instances as windows services.
• Monitoring and analyzing resources, Standard logs, application logs and domain logs.
• Patch updates using BSU, Service Pack Upgrades and Version Upgrades.
• Managing and Monitoring JVM Performance by adjusting WebLogic heap size and garbage collection parameters.
• Configuring Web Server plug-ins for Application Servers.
• WLST Scripting, Management and Automation of Operation Tasks using scripts.
• Interface with Oracle/IBM Technical Support whenever required.
• Exposure to Apache & WebSphere JEE Server Administration Skills
• Java Heap Memory Management and troubleshooting skills
• Java Stuck thread Analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Oracle PL/SQL Skills [ PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers etc.]
• Linux / Unix / AIX skills
• Windows Server Admins Skills
• Unix Shell Scripting Skills
• Windows Power Shell Scripting Skills
• Networking Protocols and Troubleshooting Skills
• Load Balancing, Session Persistence, SSL Offloading Concepts
• Https concepts and SSL Certificate Management Knowledge
• ITIL Knowledge and experience on working with ITIL Tools
• Incident , Problem and Change Management process knowledge
• Exposure to Telecom OSS Applications
• Working Experience on 24X7 IT Operations Environment
Experience: 6 - 12 years
Education: Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Computers).
