Responsible to perform all diagnostic x-ray equipment not requiring constant supervision of technical details with a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, radiographic techniques and positioning and assumes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required.
Treats patients with courtesy and respect.
Checks doctor’s referral for appropriate study. Refer to physician when in doubt or with questions if necessary.
Assures room is ready, prior to the patients entering the room( ie, equipment is operable and all supplies are readily available).
Understands and uses the scales, filed off view, gain, voltage and amps and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
Explain and responds immediately to the patients discomforts or medical problems and takes appropriate actions.
Experience: 2 - 4 years
Education: Bachelor of Science.
