A Housekeeping Coordinator/Order Taker will be required to receive all incoming calls and manage guest requests.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1 Manage the Housekeeping office
2 Receive all incoming calls and respond accordingly
3 Allocate room and task lists to team members
4 Ensure keys are issued in line with security procedures
5 Log and store all lost property after each shift; send lost property to guests
in line with procedures
6 Manage guest requests and enquiries immediately
7 Ensure all relevant guest information is communicated to Housekeepers
8 Carry out administrative and IT duties
9 Organise and control extra duties and special tasks
10 Report all necessary maintenance daily and log all jobs
11 Liaise with Reception and Guest Relations to ensure all information is communicated efficiently and promptly
12 Ensure that communication has been clear and consistent to all shifts
13 Control staff dry cleaning and guest laundry in and out of the department
14 Update system regularly to give maximum room return to the hotel/s active inventory
15 Handle emergencies if and when they occur in the department
16 Ensure all team members adhere to Health and Safety Regulations
17 Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management
