Spa Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced Spa receptionist for a very busy well established Day Spa in Dubai. The Spa Receptionist needs to be confident and have a personality with good spoken and written English. The Spa Receptionist welcomes our guests, recommends various spa services along with retail products, upsells the spa services and suggests the appropriate spa services for our guests to enhance their overall spa experience. Being a key individual within the spa operations the Spa Receptionists needs to be a leader with strong communication skills in order to drive the spa revenue.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

To welcome guests, and answer all enquirers, observing set standards and with patience. Having a complete knowledge of the treatments and services offered, and any promotions that may be on offer at the time.

To coordinate all relevant information to the sections concerned.

To make solutions orientated decisions that benefit the guest and business

To handle guest complaints in an effective and calm manner with a positive outcome

To coordinate guests consultation records with the Therapists.

To have full retail knowledge of products and prices charged.

To be responsible for all billing procedures at the reception desk and the correct reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift and at the end of the day’s work.

To complete daily and monthly reports.

To have the ability to work towards and achieve daily set targets for services and retail sales.

To take on additional responsibilities as and when required by the Head Receptionists, Assistant Spa Manager or Spa Manager.

To organised all Therapists daily appointment bookings and maximize their utilization.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Schedule spa services to maximize revenue of the spa.

To be aware of daily revenue and daily targets of reception and spa.

To achieve daily set targets given by Spa Manager.

Ensure client consultation records are completed in order for the therapist to conduct a thorough screening prior to commencing the treatment.

To answer the telephone as per policy and to respond to guest queries in an efficient and professional manner.

Assist with administration duties such as, purchasing, receiving and inventory reporting.

Report all problems and/or complaints relating to the spa, and communicating them to the Spa Manager.

Ensure accuracy in all matters of logged information, and liaise with the Head Receptionist/ Spa Manager/ so that all appointments are dealt with efficiently.

Maintain efficiency, cleanliness and order at all times, and remain calm at all times.

Complete daily Opening/Closing procedures and check lists per relevant area.

To participate in training and personal development programmes within the Health and Leisure Department.

To have a comprehensive knowledge of all product lines used within the Spa and can retail accordingly.

To be proficient in the use of computers including MS Word and Excel.

Ensure that the issued uniform and name badge are worn at all times.

Attend meetings as per the requirements of the Spa Manager/Head Receptionist.

Maintain a healthy physical and smart appearance to assist the promotion and sales of spa services.

Maintain good working relationships with all your colleagues and other departments.


Comply with local legislation as required.

To perform any other duties deemed reasonable by management.


Other Duties:

Ensure that guests are escorted or that they know the way to the relevant areas for treatment by the attendants.
