Network Administrator for UAE

VAM Systems is currently looking for Network Administrator for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Experience required: ·
Thorough understanding of Security solutions like SIEM, Integrity Monitoring and Management, Two-Factor Authentication, NAC and DLP.
Good understanding of IT best practices and procedures, like ITIL v3 and COBIT etc.
At least 5 years of extensive experience in IT/Telecommunications.
Excellent communication skills, very good verbal and written English skills.
Project management skills.
Self-motivated with ability to perform under tight deadlines and high pressure ·
Possess good project management skills. ·
Ready to travel to branch offices in GCC and North Africa.
Knowledge & Skills:
TCP/IP, Network Configuration Management, VPNs, Information Security Standards and Compliance requirements
Switching technologies with extensive hands-on Cisco Nexus & Catalyst, Brocade, Cisco Catalyst and HP
Switches. Extensive hands-on on switching technologies like STP, VLANs, multi-layer switching etc. VoIP
switching infrastructure considerations like QoS and POE etc.
Manage and Implement SD-WAN & SDN Technologies across region.
Manage Cloud Setup & Migration like Microsoft Azure & AWS setup.
Manage and Implement Linux Systems like RedHat, CentOS, etc
Routing technologies extensive hands-on Cisco and Juniper routers. In depth understanding of OSPF and other
routing protocols. Device Redundancy protocols like VRRP, HSRP, NSRP etc.
Firewall technologies with extensive hands-on on Juniper SSG, Cisco PIX/ASA & CheckPoint firewalls
Load Balancer technologies with extensive hands-on on Citrix Netscaler Load Balancer
Web Application Firewall with extensive hands-on Barracuda WAF
Intrusion Prevention System with extensive hands on McAfee IPS
Wireless Controller supported AP’s with extensive hands on Cisco Wireless Controller.
Bandwidth Shaper with extensive hands-on Bluecoat Bandwidth Shaper
SSL VPN with extensive hands-on Juniper MAG box
Network and Information Security industry best practices and procedures. Clear understanding of Compliance Standards like PCI-DSS.
In-depth knowledge in different types of VPN solutions like MPLS, SSL VPN, IPSEC (Site-to-Site and Remote Access) VPNS.
Experience in working in Network Management & Monitoring Tools, PRTG & OpManager
IIS Servers, SQL Servers, Windows Server, Active Directory…
Education requirement:
Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or any related education.
Professional certification in: CCIE/CCNP/CCSP/JNIS/AWS/AZURE/GCP preferred.
Competencies:
Good communication skills, Time management skills, Team player, self-motivated, Awareness of Information
Security, Awareness of ITIL and ISO 27001 standards.
Key Accountabilities:

Maintain and implement solid network infrastructure across the MENA region according to PCI-DSS standards
Work together with a team of Network and System administrators towards a common preset goal
Monitor existing network-infrastructure and be first-line support person for internal and external parties
Handling new projects from very nascent stage and ensuring they are executed as per expectations.
Responsible for Designing Core Network & Data Communication Systems
Manage and Implement SD-WAN & SDN Technologies across region.
Manage Cloud Setup & Migration like Microsoft Azure & AWS setup.
Manage and Implement Linux Systems like RedHat, CentOS, etc
Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of the network’s infrastructure design, integration, and operations.
Independently manage company’s network including switching, routing and security devices like Firewalls, IPS etc.
Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.

Good knowledge of Budget, RFP process, Procurement processes.
Should be customer support ordinated candidate, should have very good knowledge of customer service processes. Good knowledge of ITIL Framework.

Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems - UAE and shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in UAE.
