An EPC Company based in Dubai is looking for a Civil& Structural Cost estimator/engineer.
Job brief
• Prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and tendering requirements.
• Establishing and analyzing unit rates including labor, material, plant and equipment etc., which are well understood and defendable
• Analyzing commercial impacts and sensitivities on estimates and recommending work arounds
• Able to understand, question, and incorporate Level of Effort from the technical teams into the project estimate
• Advising management of risks that may affect project profit and costs, able to provide contingency cost for various risks
• Able to coordinate and prepare the commercial and technical proposals deliverables.
• Supporting the Project Management team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems
Requirements
Estimator Skills and Qualifications:
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s in Engg. (Civil/ Architecture)
• Software Skills: Well versed with Auto CAD, Solid works, 3d-max and aftereffect software. BIM related software certification is preferred. 8+ years’ experience within the Civil &Structural estimator or engineer field in UAE & experience in house building project.
Experience: 8 - 15 years
