Achievement of Store Top Line Targets set in the Budget
Limiting Store Overheads within the Budgetary limits.
Achieve Gross Margin Target.
Inventory Control: Responsible for reducing the ageing stocks, and keeping the inventory levels under control
Increasing the Stock Turns: Responsible for educating and directing the sales team for increasing the stock turns (rotation) frequency in your location.
Avoid Stock Variances: Ensure Parity between Physical Stock and System Inventory Data.
Ensuring there are no stock outs at stores.
Carry out Competition Analysis by visiting competitor outlet and providing weekly price reviews to the B&M (Buying & Merchandising/Purchase) team.
Provide information to concerned depts. such as Retail Operation, B&M etc. on current market dynamics, information on new Products, scheme structure, marketing support, service issues & improve Business Opportunities.
Responsible for reducing the operating expenditure of the Store, Cost optimization, keeping the shrinkage and pilferage at a low level.
Ensure Compliance to store level SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Ensure Compliance to Statutory requirements of Government depts. Such as Food Control Dept. / Economic Dept./ Media Council/ Municipality etc.
Maintenance of Store Hygiene Standards.
Have a proper Store Checklist, daily inspection as per Store Checklist; take appropriate measures to address deviations.
Store staffs to be well groomed at all times.
Store to be clean and tidy at all times. Such as the aisles, stocks are well stacked etc.
Special care to be taken at Fresh Areas such as F&V, Hot Food, Butchery, Fishery etc.
Execution of the advertisement and promotions plans, visual merchandising activities in the store.
Visual Merchandising: Guiding the sales team to support business objectives by maintaining the highest VM standards at your location. To keep track of competitors VM strategies and develop unique strategies
Experience: 3 - 5 years
