Job Profile
We are currently looking for experienced Construction Managers to form part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team based on a large Pipeline project in Afghanistan. Although execution will be in Afghanistan, entire engineering and Project Management will be from Client’s Dubai office.
• The main objective of the PMC is to implement and manage the overall Development Programme, which includes Pipeline infrastructure, Compressor stations (Phase-2), Pipeline way, Required permits elements.
• The team (PMC) shall be expected to assist the client in any way possible to ensure the Development is completed to the required timescales and within their stated budgets, with a specific focus on delivering the works on site during construction phase of the elements.
• The project is expected to last for up to 2 years for the FIRST PHASE elements, with further projects carrying on (Phase-2, operational and handover).
• Cross country pipeline experience is mandatory.
• Construction Manager will be core team member of IPMT (Integrated Project Management Team) who has to manage the entire execution sequence from client’s Dubai office with occasional visit to Afghanistan.
• The entire security plan is on client’s shoulder and PMC team will also comprise of Security Manager who will assess the entire plan before sending any team member to Afghanistan.
