JOB SUMMARY:
Manages and oversees all Oil Spill and HNS Response Base activities in order to ensure that the facility is at the optimal level of operational preparedness and readiness to deliver seamless Oil Spill and HNS response with minimal human, environmental and financial impact.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the Oil Spill Response Base staff by overseeing their recruitment, performance management and training in order to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity.
Manages Base activities including operations, maintenance, HSE and logistics to ensure resources readiness and preparedness.
Exercises financial authority at the level established by the management for the job.
Ensure that expenditures and cost utilization within the center activities in order to ensure that costs do not exceed the established budget for the base.
Manages the implementation of the relevant policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls in order to ensure that the base activities are fully integrated and delivered to best practice and international standards.
Supports the provision of advice on the Oil Spill and HNS Response Plans of the Group Company assets and supports best practices or areas of improvement to help raise Oil Spill and HNS response awareness and capability.
Monitors and reports continuously risk issues related to the Base activities and formulates solutions in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders in order to mitigate any risks that would reduce operational readiness and / or compliance.
Ensures the support of training services delivery by the Base employees to ensure smooth cooperation, optimal knowledge transfer and the overall improvement of Oil Spill and HNS response capabilities.
