The Commercial Manager will be responsible for providing advice on corporate, commercial and legal matters including contracts, projects, disputes, negotiations and compliance affecting Penspen’s Middle East, Africa and Asia Pac regions.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Management – responsible for advising on the commercial and legal risks of a project from tender stage through to completion.
Contract Governance – monitoring the execution of projects to ensure they are executed in accordance with all relevant processes and procedures to ensure they meet Penspen’s objectives, strategic direction and financial viability.
Regulatory Compliance – continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise management accordingly, including monitoring of sanctions which may also affect the company group.
Contract Review – ensure client and supplier contracts are well negotiated, robust and apportion risk appropriately,are well understood and in accordance with Penspen principles. Prepare, review and modify contractual instruments to assist and support various business activities in the required regions.
Regional Compliance Officer – oversee the regions’ approach to compliance matters, and ensure that responsibilities are appropriately executed.
Enterprise Risk Management - contribute to the management of enterprise risk through compliance activities, maintaining a commercial, regulatory and ethical balance and escalating key risk matters as appropriate.
